Nestled in the hills above New Mills,
on the edge of the Peak District. This charming High Peak pub has
excellent en suite accommodation, a cozy bar with a friendly atmosphere
and good wholesome traditional, and not so traditional pub food.

Overlooking the beautiful Sett
Valley, Hayfield and Kinder Scout (The Peak District's highest point),
stunning, panoramic, views can be enjoyed from four of the five
bedrooms. To the rear is a neatly maintained garden for customers to
relax and enjoy a drink or some food. To call it a beer garden would be
unfair, as it really is a lovely place to sit outside. Adjacent to the
garden is a large car park for patrons. Because the Pack Horse is a
family owned and run pub, you can be assured of a warm welcome from Beryl
and John Crossland, and son Mark, who have been the proprietors for twenty
years.
