By Road
The Pack Horse Inn is a two-minute drive from the centre of
the High Peak town of New Mills, on the road to Mellor and Marple
Bridge. New Mills is situated between Stockport and Buxton on the A6,
making it relatively easy to reach from, Buxton, Macclesfield, Chesterfield,
Sheffield, Stockport and Manchester.
By Rail
Rail connection to New Mills is easy as there are two stations -
New Mills Newtown is
served by the Manchester to Buxton line, and New Mills Central is on the
Manchester to Sheffield line.
By Air
Manchester International Airport is about fifteen miles away by road. A
recently completed railway link means that you take a train from Manchester Airport to
Manchester Piccadilly station and on to either New Mills railway station.
