Good food, freshly cooked on the premises

Beryl prides herself, quite rightly, on the standard of the food served at the Pack Horse, and makes no apology for describing it as 'pub food'. Although the menu features good old fashioned 'pub grub' there are plenty of dishes with a more cosmopolitan flavour. All food is freshly prepared and cooked on the premises, as anyone who has sat at the bar and enjoyed the subtle smell of some delicacy being cooked, wafting from the kitchen will witness. There is a vegetarian and a children's menu in addition the daily specials blackboard.
